Last week, I had the privilege of presenting my live webinar 🛜 on corporate giving, “Building Bridges: Best Practices for Securing Corporate Support” for Somos El Poder (SEP) members — an organization dedicated to being a resource of training, education and career development for Latino/Hispanic fundraisers and the organizations they serve.
Our conversation explored practical, actionable strategies around nonprofit–corporate partnerships, including sponsorships, cause marketing, employee engagement, C-suite involvement, stewardship, current trends in corporate philanthropy, and much more.
I want to thank SEP Founder and Executive Director Armando Zumaya for the invitation to share my experience with the membership, and to Ana Patiño, Associate Director, for ensuring the webinar went off without a hitch.
Most of all, I’m grateful ❤️ to my fellow SEP members who made time to attend and actively participate in the webinar with insightful questions, real-world examples and a shared commitment to strengthening fundraising efforts across our communities. It made the event everything I had hoped for.
